I'll start with my failures in the first semester. Those would be I didn't get involved in clubs like I wanted to. Also I would say that I didn't keep on my grades as much as I wanted, I let them slip a little towards the middle of the semester.
Secondly comes my successes. I would say succeeded in making new friends. That was one of my fears and I wanted to be successful in meeting new people. I also was successful in making the baseball team. I wanted to pursue my dream of playing college baseball and I successful.

What are you most looking forward to about Thanksgiving break?
The thing I am most excited for is the break from the cafe food and the home cooked meals. Over the course of the break I will have about 4 "Thanksgiving" dinners. My favorite part about the meals are the potatoes.
The other thing I am looking forward to is seeing all my friends that left for college too. My best friend in high school went to Alabama for college and i only get to hang out when he is back for breaks.

How do you plan to "stretch" yourself during college?
I plan on stretching myself in college by doing things I haven't done before. By that I mean joining groups and by meeting new people. In high school I wasn't in any groups. I played sports that was it, in college I hope to stretch my boundaries more and join clubs.I hope that this opens me to other clubs that I wouldn't of looked at during the my high school years.

The meeting of a lifetime
If I had to choose one person to meet dead or alive, I would choose Michael Jordan. I would choose him because he is one of the greatest athletes ever. When I was little for Halloween I would dress up as Michael Jordan. I would have my 23 jersey on all the time. My favorite quote is by him,
I would love just to have a conversation with the greatest basketball player ever.
“I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” | |
